2021 LOTA Dues:
Due to lack of activities as a result of Covid, the LOTA board has voted to suspend 2021 dues for all members that paid in 2020. LOTA members who paid in 2020 do not need to take any action. If you are unsure if you paid your dues, please contact Debbie Ivey, LOTA treasurer.

2021 USTA League Season:
We would like to bring everyone up to date on the status of 2021 USTA League Play for LOTA. As of today, there is no scheduled USTA league play. Any dates indicated on the USTA website are a carryover from last year. The dates on the Georgia USTA website for 2021 State Championships are based on contracts signed in prior years and may not reflect current thinking. We have not received any recent updates with respect to 2021 State Championship dates.

As of right now, LOTA has no courts on which to hold matches. Reynolds is not allowing non-member play and it is unknown when and how that will change. Even when Reynolds opens the courts to non-members, it is not known whether they will permit USTA matches to be held there. It is likely they will not and alternative courts will be required. Eric and the Lake Club staff must abide by the decision of Reynolds management. For those who wish to participate in USTA League Play, please think about where we can play that would allow us to hold USTA League Play. One option is the local county recreation centers. Putnam, Greene and Baldwin counties have recreation centers with tennis courts. We will attempt to have leagues based on teams being able to secure courts to play their matches.
