Mission Statement: LOTA represents the Lake Oconee Area with members from Greene, Morgan, Putnam and Baldwin Counties. Our purpose and objective is to create, develop, maintain and promote tennis in our communities. Our goal is to provide tennis opportunities and programs, where we all have fun, play good matches, and benefit from physical activity out-of-doors.

A Message from Stephanie Coleman, President: The weather has been pretty mild this winter, so I hope you are taking advantage of the nice days and getting some tennis in! LOTA is set to have a great year and hopefully you will be part of it! Here's what we have planned for 2012: USTA Leagues will start in February, Spring LOTA Leagues (Men's, Women's, Mixed) will start March 17-18, Mixed Doubles Celebration Tournament May 19-20, LOTA Members' Party May 19, Summer Combo League begins June 23, Fall LOTA Leagues start September 8-9, LOTA Classic Tennis Tournament September 28-30, Christmas Round Robin to benefit the Empty Stocking Fund December 1. Finally, I want to thank the Board Members who are coming off the Board. Their service helped make 2011 a great success for LOTA. Karon Gilliland, Lin Logan, Kim Logan, and Brenda Pinson all contributed their time and effort to making tennis at Lake Oconee fun for all of us! Thank you all!
